Celebrate Spring at Nashville Blooming Festival

A popular Nashville festival has been in bloom on Mother’s Day weekend since 1997.
The Nashville Blooming Festival takes place each May in the downtown area near Nash County Courthouse. Attractions include live musical entertainment‚ 100 craft booths‚ a carnival midway‚ pony rides and food booths.
“A fourth-grader came up with the festival’s name‚ suggesting that ‘blooming’ not only means budding trees and flowers‚ but also the beginning of relationships‚” says JoAnne Cooper‚ chairperson of the Nashville Blooming Festival. “The festival now attracts 13‚000 to 15‚000 people during the two days of fun.”
